Join us October 01, 2011 in Kingston!

GO ENG Girl! is an exciting event for girls in Grades 7 and up and their parents, teachers and counselors happening October 01, 2011 all over Ontario. Kingston's event is co-hosted every year by the Royal Military College and Queen's University. This year the event will take place at the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at Queen's University.

When: October 01, 2011 from 9:00am 1:00pm

Where: Queen's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Beamish Munro Hall (a.k.a. the ILC), Room 313

Why: A fun way to meet like-minded young girls that live right in your own backyard!

Young girls and adults together can explore the exciting field of engineering through this special girls only event. The morning will include hands-on activities for the girls to showcase some possibilities of an engineering career. There will also be opportunities for participants to meet role models and hear the amazing things they are doing, and to learn about student activities outside the classroom. Lunch is provided, and there is no cost to attend this program.

Registration is on line at www.ospe.on.ca/goenggirl/

When you have registered for GoEngGirl on the OSPE site above, please print and complete the Permission Form. This form should be brought with you on October 1st.

The programs are being coordinated by the Ontario Network of Women in Engineering (ONWiE) with the support of the Council of Ontario Deans of Engineering.
