GO ENG Girl!

Are you interested in finding out more about Engineering?

Join us Saturday October 19th, 2013!

GO ENG Girl! is an exciting event for girls in Grades 7 through Grade 10 and their parents, teachers and counselors taking place Saturday October 19th, 2013 all over Ontario. Queen's University will be hosting Kingston's event this year, at the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.

When: October 19th, 2013 from 8:45 am - 2:30 pm

Where: Queen's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science, Dupuis Hall, 19 Division Street (Click here for directions)

Please note: The Queen's event is SOLD OUT for 2013. We would be delighted to host you and your family in October, 2014. In the meantime, please visit the event at a different location. There is currently room at UOttawa (in English or French), Carleton, Ryerson, U of T and other locations.

Why: A fun way to meet like-minded young girls that live right in your own backyard!

Cost: FREE, but participation is limited, so signup early to avoid disappointment

Young girls and adults together can explore the exciting field of engineering through this special girls only event. This morning program will include hands-on activities to showcase and interest students in the possibility of a career in engineering. There will also be opportunities for participants to meet role models and hear the amazing things they are doing. Breakfast and lunch are provided, and there is no cost to attend this program; however, registration is limited, so sign up early!

When you have registered for GoEngGirl on the OSPE site above, please print and complete the Permission Form. This form should be brought with you on October 19th.
