Areas of Research
My research involves the study of human locomotion to investigate the biomechanical factors of musculoskeletal diseases such as knee osteoarthritis. I am interested in the design and evaluation of non-invasive therapies as well as surgical treatments such as total knee replacement. The nature of this work is multidisciplinary and the Centre for Health Innovation located in the Kingston General Hospital enables collaborations between the disciplines of medicine and engineering.
Topics
My research is in the area of Biomechanical Engineering. Specific research topics include:
Research Space
This multidisciplinary work requires collaboration with clinical researchers from orthopaedics and rehabilitation. The Centre for Health Innovation at Kingston General Hospital provides an ideal environment to conduct this research.
