Course Work Masters

The Master of Engineering (MEng) is a one year coursework based graduate program that provides a mix of technical and professional skills. The program suits students who are interested in learning advanced engineering skills to enhance employment opportunities.

 

MEng students also have access to the free professional development workshops offered through the School of Graduate Studies. You can customize the Queen's MEng to suit your goals with specializations available in areas such as energy systems, power engineering and process engineering. Both Mechanical and Materials and Electrical and Computer Engineering provide for industrial internships at the graduate level for their respective MEng programs. Masters in Mining Engineering

The Masters program enables qualified students to study advanced courses in their field of interest in the mining industry. 

Masters in Mechanical Engineering

The requirement for the MEng degree is eight courses. Two of the courses can be at the 400 undergraduate level. Students are eligible to take any course listed in the Graduate Calendar, as long as at least four of the courses are taken from their home department.

Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering

The requirement for the MEng degree is eight courses. Two of the courses can be at the 400 undergraduate level. Students are eligible to take any course listed in the Graduate Calendar, as long as at least four of the courses are taken from their home department.

Masters in Civil Engineering

The requirement for the MEng degree is eight courses. Two of the courses can be at the 400 undergraduate level. Students are eligible to take any course listed in the Graduate Calendar, as long as at least four of the courses are taken from their home department. 

Masters in Chemical Engineering

The requirement for the MEng degree is eight courses. Two of the courses can be at the 400 undergraduate level. Students are eligible to take any course listed in the Graduate Calendar, as long as at least four of the courses are taken from their home department.
