Engineering Physics

Queen's Engineering Physics offers Mechanical, Computing, Electrical and Materials specializations. Courses in Newtonian, relativistic and quantum physics, electricity and magnetism, are combined with advanced mathematics courses and courses in your engineering subject of specialization. Laboratories emphasize electronic and instrumentation skills, and team design projects enable students to put theory into practice.

Careers are found in a myriad of industries and fields, particularly in the high tech industries, consulting and start-up companies. About half of the graduates go on to pursue M.Sc. and Ph.D degrees in Physics or Engineering at top-ranked institutions in North America and abroad.
