Fall 2020

September 8: Engterm 1 (6WK) classes begin 

October 5: Last day to drop an Engterm 1 (6WK) course without academic or financial penalty

October 12: Thanksgiving Day

October 20: Engterm 1 (6WK) classes end

October 22-24: Engterm 1 (6WK) exams

October 26-30: Fall Term Break

November 2: Engterm 2 (6WK) classes begin

November 27: Last day to drop an Engterm 2 (6WK) course without academic or financial penalty

December 11: Engterm 2 (6WK) classes end

December 11: Make-up day for Thanksgiving Holiday (Engterm 2)

December 12-13: Fall term pre-examination study period begins

December 15-18: First Year Engterm 2 exams

December 19-23: First Year Module 1 Project Presentations

NOTE: students should avoid making personal plans that fall within the official exam periods (refer to the sessional dates for the official exam periods). Until the final exam schedule is published (the Friday before Thanksgiving for fall term and Family Day for winter term) it should be assumed that exams could be scheduled any time from the first to the last day of the official period. Students will not be granted consideration for any personal plans (travel, etc.) made in conflict with their exam schedule. Section 8.4 of the Academic Regulations states that personal plans do not qualify as extenuating circumstances. 

Winter 2021

January 11: Winter term classes begin

January 11: Last day to apply for a first-year Fall course rewrite examination

January 11: Extended Program (J-Section) Fall classes begin

January 15: Last day to add a Fall Extended Program course

January 18: First-year program Orientation Nights begin

January 22: Last day to drop a Winter term course without financial penalty

January 22: Last day to drop a Fall-Winter course without academic penalty

January 22: Last date to drop a Fall Extended Program course

February 1-19: First-year program selection in SOLUS

February 16-19: Mid-term Reading Week (including Family Day)

February 16-19: Extended Program course examinations

February 22: Extended Program Winter classes begin

March 5: Last day to drop a Winter term course without academic penalty

April 5: Last day to drop a Winter Extended program course

April 5: Make-up day for Good Friday

April 9: Winter term classes end

April 10-13: Winter term pre-examination study period

April 14-30: Final examination period

May 3: Extended Program Winter classes continue

June 11: Extended Program winter classes end

June 14-18: Extended Program Winter exams
