PhD student Clouthier wins prestigious paper competition
Allison Clouthier, a PhD candidate in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering, earned first place in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (Bioengineering Division) student paper competition last week in Dublin for her submission on the influence of patellofemoral joint morphology on mechanical outcomes of simulated surgery. Allison won top stop in a field of 36 PhD finalists from about 500 submissions. Co-supervisors Drs. Michael Rainbow and Kevin Deluzio are excited to see Allison recognized for her work.
