Representatives from Magna International were on campus on September 9 to announce the new partnership and meet this year's group of TEAM students. Dave Pascoe, Vice President of Engineering and R&D, told the incoming TEAM class that Magna is thrilled to partner with Queen's University to develop innovators and leaders for the 21st century.

The interdisciplinary TEAM program offers students in Engineering, Business, Arts & Science and Law the opportunity to work together to solve real industry problems. Approximately 100 upper year students, from across faculties and disciplines, participate each year, working in teams on projects provided by industry partners.

Magna is generously supporting the TEAM program with a gift of $500,000 over 4 years.

Dave Mody, coordinator of TEAM, stated that he is looking forward to working with Magna and is excited about the opportunities this new partnership will provide for the TEAM students.
