VIDEO: Queens Summer Engineering Academy - In the Community

Posted on May 22, 2018

The Queen’s Summer Engineering Academy (QSEA) is an engineering-focused educational summer program for primary and secondary school children offered on campus at Queen’s University in Kingston. It’s all about making sure kids in Eastern Ontario have every chance to be engaged by what’s possible in the fields of engineering and science long before they decide what to do after high school.

It’s not always easy or practical to bring groups of kids all the way to Queen’s. So now there’s a way to bring QSEA programs and activities to you. With QSEA in the Community, Queen’s engineering undergraduates and Connections staff will come to a school in your community with our Tech ‘n’ Tinker Trailer to run a full program of interesting engineering and makerspace activities specially tailored for students entering Grade 6 & 7.

Learn more about QSEA in the Community and all our Connections: Queen’s Summer Engineering Academy programs on our website. We’ll see you in the community.
