With exam season upon us, the good people of Student Services at the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science are once again offering a series of fun, head-clearing, study break activities for students around the ILC. It's Wellness Week!

MAGIC MONDAY November 25th

Laughs + Magic, 12:00pm – 2:00pm, BMH Atrium and area

Take a magic break and catch entertainer Rob Driscoll strolling through Beamish-Munro Hall as he amazes with close-up magic and laugh-out-loud humour. Watch it all unfold right in front of your eyes and in your hands!

Gingerbread Bridge Building Competition, 6:30pm-8:30pm, JDUC McLaughlin Room

Brought to you by the Engineering Society Equity Team, Event Team, and Queen's EngiQueers. This is a free event where you can participate in teams to build your very own bridge from gingerbread to celebrate wellness, gender and sexual equality and the holidays! A prize will be awarded to the winning team!It's a great chance for a study break. You should go!

TRANSFORM TUESDAY November 26th

Eat Better, Feel Better, 12:30pm-1:00pm, BMH Atrium 

What are the best meals to eat for a razor sharp mind during exam time? What are the truths and myths about good nutrition? Registered Dietitian, Theresa Schneider, will cut through the fluff to get you better in tune with good foods to put in your body so you can live your best life in an often high-stress university environment. A light healthy salad bowl will be provided to the first 20 registrants. Specialty green tea will be available to everyone while quantities last. WHOPPING WEDNESDAY November 27th

Whopping Games: Jenga, Connect Four, Chess, 9am-8pm, BMH Atrium

Why so LARGE? Because regular-sized Jenga, Connect Four and Chess is just not good enough. Compete in friendly games amongst peers for a confidence boost! Snacks will be available for the early birds!

THERAPY THURSDAY November 28th

Canine Therapy, 1pm-3pm, BMH Atrium

The simple act of petting a dog can reduce stress hormones and increase oxycotin (the "trust hormone"). Leave your worries behind and take in the comfort and affection of these adorable canines.

FRESH FRIDAY November 29th

When life gives you lemons, 9am-4pm, BMH300

Stop by BMH 300 to pick up your wellness gift to close the week (while quantities last)! Tell us what you thought about the week in an anonymous survey and we'll throw in another treat!
