Four researchers from the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science have been awarded valuable funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation for tools and equipment to advance discovery in several key areas of technology.

The John R. Evans Leaders Fund (JELF) facilitates leading-edge research by providing funding for foundational research infrastructure. The fund also offers institutions the opportunity to create competitive research support packages in the form of infrastructure and a portion of the operating and maintenance costs, coupled with direct research costs from partner organizations.
