Queen’s Engineering, its five engineering departments, and its Mechatronics & Robotics program will be relaunching their websites on June 15, 2023.

Following a redevelopment process, the sites will feature an updated look and feel, with the objective of improving user experience. Core content for the sites will remain similar, including information for prospective undergraduate and graduate students, about Queen’s researchers, and information for current students at the Faculty and its departments. A standardization process will create experiences across all sites, with parallel menu structures and eased information-finding for new users.

While the URL for the Faculty site will remain the same, at https://engineering.queensu.ca, department sites will be updated to follow the Faculty’s URL convention:

Chemical Engineering: https://engineering.queensu.ca/chee

The Robert M. Buchan Department of Mining: https://engineering.queensu.ca/mining

Electrical and Computer Engineering: https://engineering.queensu.ca/ece

Mechanical & Materials Engineering: https://engineering.queensu.ca/mme

Civil Engineering: https://engineering.queensu.ca/civil

Mechatronics & Robotics Engineering: https://engineering.queensu.ca/mre

The site will feature a consolidated approach to news promulgation through a centralized news feed, a new directory presence that consolidates faculty and staff information, and for the first time in the Faculty’s history, an events calendar and feed.
