ECE Innovation Stream

The Electrical and Computer Engineering Innovation (ECEi) stream is an undergraduate program option for Electrical or Computer Engineering students who are interested in learning additional entrepreneurship and innovation skills.

ECEi is a direct-entry program: students who enrol in the innovation stream of Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering are guaranteed to get into the program of their choice, provided that they pass all of their first-year courses. The first-year program in the ECEI is composed of the same courses as for all other first-year engineering students. ECEi students can still enjoy the variety and the benefits of the common engineering first year and take courses across disciplines during their first year of study.
