Research Awards

The Charles Allan Thompson Summer Research Award was established in memory of Charles Allan Thompson, B.Sc (Mech.Eng.) 1997, and is intended to provide support to Undergraduate students in the Faculty of Applied Science to participate in a summer research Program.

The Dean's Graduate Research Award is a three year award that is intended to enhance the Graduate student experience.

The Dean's Research Fund is intended to provide funding to support new projects of a large-scale that are transformative in nature with a strategic value to the faculty and university as well as the province of Ontario and Canada. The end result of the project will be to position the FEAS as an international leader in a key research area.

The FEAS Excellence in Research Award is intended to recognise outstanding contributions by faculty members to the research environment in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at Queen's University. The award is intended to reward mid-career faculty for their research excellence as indicated by quality and impact of published research, research productivity and research leadership.  Fostering the development of collaborative research initiatives within the Faculty, within the University, and both nationally and internationally as well as a broader impact on society will also be considered.
